CACA MERBA

Salam,

Quite sometimes kan tak post new entry.. Almaklumlah, lecturer yang sibuk (cewaah, padahal suka buat lecture notes last minutes, huhuhu). Today nyer story-mory carca -merba (vocab org utara yang bermaksud tidak teratur) just like the title of this entry.. Banyak sgt nak cerita, tu yang jd mcm ni tu..

Ok, lets start with last weekend outing. We went to Penang or more specific to Gurney Plaza for some shopping..Punyalah semangat nak p, sampai terlupa nk charge battery camera. Baru tangkap 2 gambar, battery pun kong.. So, tak dapatlah I kongsi all the excitement when we were there. Excitement?? As last entry, I kata I dah list a few things to shop tapi hasilnya I tak beli paper pun during that outing.Why?? Sebab lil Ammar dah pandai nk mintak dukung and tak mau dok dlm stroller dia.. Yg momma dia pula, punyalah bendul tak bawa carrier, so end-up terpaksa dukung dia along the way.. Tak mau tido pulak tu, bertuah2.. Nasib baik during dinner, lil Ammar tido and bolehlah I berjalan-jalan sikt and grabbed some vitamins.

Aiman and Ammar yang paling beruntung sbb, all the stuff we bought were for them. To papa, thank you for the treat.. Tapi sian dekat you sebab tak beli paper utk diri sendiri.. Lain kali shopping lain ek..(Bwk I tau, huhu)

Ni je gamba yang I sempat ambik, lepas tu terus kamera I gulap gulita..huhu

This week, again I had a tensed weekdays. Mana tak nya dengan class, tutorial and lab berjalan serentak.. So that I wish I could finish my class faster, which tak logiklah kan. Dah lah subject susah, so how fast you can speed during delivering your lecture? Sampai one of my student came to see me and said, "Puan, subjek puan ni susah lah. Tiap kali habis kelas, saya terasa ngap ngap kepala saya". That honest comment make me think; 1) am I a bad lecturer that hardly make my students understand my lecture? or 2) This subject is really tuff. I really hope that the answer is not no. 1, bcoz I've put so much efforts in each class of mine. I have tried to be the very best teacher but as always I cannot satisfied everyone. Another thing, this comment really boosted me to give even better.. InsyaAllah..

My lil Ammar had started his first meal yesterday, hooray!! Thanks to my friend; mommaholicseries for her last entry that shared the info about starting the solid food for bb.. So, once I read, i noticed that my lil Ammar is ready for his first runny meal, huhu.. So, i've bought the rice cereal yesterday and feed him. Alhamdullilah, dia makan tak hengat.. Ingatkan dah bagi makan kenyang-kenyang, malam boleh lah tido cepat.. Rupanya, sama gak.. While I tried very hard to make lil Ammar sleep, suddenly his brother, Aiman said "Mama, dia tak nak tido kot. Dia nak main ngan Aiman"... Nak tergelak pun ada.. He spoke like adult and sapa-sapa cakap banyak sikit or adviced him not to do things he will said, "hisyy, pok pek, pok pek".. Kelakar kan..?

Abang yang perasan kecik. He wanted to wear his brother top, so macam nilah hasilnya..huhu

Today, I just went back from the gurls day out with my collegues. We went for lunch treat (blanja diri sendiri slps penat bekerja) at Secret Recipe, Jitra. As usual lah kan, bila p dkt SR, tak boleh tidak mesti kena melawat boutique kesukaan I.. Bila dah melawat, ermmm, agak-agak apa yang terjadi..? Inilah hasilnya...

Huhu..tak hengat...

On da way balik, pening lak kepala.. Maybe sbb berpanas (as usual, Perlis punya sunny day is super duper hot) atau mungkin juga sebab memikirkan kekempisan walletku selepas membeli makcik-makcik di atas, huhuhu....

BUZY

Starting from this weekend until a week before raya, I will be very tensed, miserable, tired, sleepy and sneezed all the time (huhu, kononnya tak cukup tido lh tu..).. Why? Ini semua gara-gara clas EAT 404 (Environmental Process Control and Instrumentation) had started. Not because I hate teaching very much, it is because this subject is:

1. New to me

2. New to my students (of course lah kan, depa baru nak ambik sem ni..huhu)

3. The diploma intake student don't have a basic on chemical processes.. so cam ner proceed to another level kalo basic pun tak ambik.

4. It is a killer subject

5. I haven't bother and apply this subject for 6 years.. (lamanya!! padanlah dah berkarat..)

Banyak tak sebab musabab nya.. Huhuu.. (Alasan jer tu..) So, no much time left for blogging and FB... (yoyo oo jer..ok, FB sempat lagi..Huhuh)..

Setension mana pun I, the relieve part is that I'm taking a day off tomorrow. Why? I'm going to Penang for shopping spree, yeay!! Huhhu.. nak menghabiskan duit no. satu... Dh macam-macam dah yang di list dalam kepala ni.. Time beli tu mmg syok.. bila balik dan tengok kekempisan wallet ku, sangat sedeyy.. Nak wat macammana... "Aku Wanita", macam nyanyian Dato' Siti (I think the tittle is Wanita je kot..). For my hubby, thank you for tomorrow's trip. I sayang dkt U!! (Ayat bodek ni... :-))

Bengkel@Langkawi

Last weekend, me and my family were at Langkawi Island, not for holiday but me attending Bengkel Perancangan Strategik there. I went there with my collegues on friday morning and my family went on afternoon. Kebetulan, my sister from Pahang went to my place. So knowing me having a bengkel there, depa semua nak itut lah.. making a group of Rombongan Che' Kiah.. Huhhuh..

We were staying at Langkawi Boutique Resort nearby Pantai Cenang. That resort, in terms of layanan pelanggan was good but facilities; sorry to say quite dissapointed. Why? No phone (you have to run down to groundfloor, semata2 nak call housekeeping), no refrigerator, no lift... Huhu, tension!!!! Tapi nak buat cam ne..? All other hotels are fully booked during this time.. Sabo jer lah..

The bengkel started on Friday afternoon after lunch. Myself involved in discussion on guideline for diploma holder to degree program and Self Assessment Report (SAR). After struggling very hard (sebabnya habis awal boleh shopping awal, huhuh), we manage to finished (tu pun, not really finished) on saturday afternoon. on that afternoon, rombongan Che' Kiah at my room dah ready for shopping trip at Kuah.

Bengkel time...

First place to go, of course Idaman Suri.. sapa-sapa yang dah pergi atau belum ke Langkawi for sure pernah dengar nama ni.. Especially for suris; all brands of pinggan mangkuk, chocolates and bedsheets are here.. Memang rambang mata.. For myself, I just grabbed a few chocs and nuts for my son, Aiman. Then, they wanted to go to Hj Ismail Group pulak.. so, I just waited inside the car because it was raining heavily outside.. Here, are some pics taken while waiting for my mom and sis shopping.

Academic Session 2009/2010 had Started

This week the academic session had started; that's mean the lecture hall is full again, the office is always crowded with students, gerai makcik sup always at the maximum capacity (so, susah dah I nak menikmati kuetiaw sup di situ with my collegues..) and my privacy obviously been disturbed.. Tak pelah, demi anak-anak bangsa, all of these are ok. Lagi pun, students are our stakeholder kan, apa rupanya university without the students..?huhuh

Starting this weekend, my time for blogging and facebooking also need to be cut down.. Apa taknya, list of works to do is like mountain..huhuh..

Macam ni lah rupa checklist kerja I for this week. Luckily, this semester I am not appointed as subject coordinator (yang before this never failed been appointed since I masuk keje, huhuh). Maybe my Dean considered that i'm leaving for study leave, so ringan lah skit this semester. Thank you Dean!!!

However, the challenges are I have to teach all final year subjects..huhahua.. They gave me 2 new subjects; (team teaching; thats mean I will share the subject with other lecs) Process Control (known as killer subject) and Statistics for Engineers. I need to construct new teaching material (including notes, powerpoint slide etc..) and prepared myself to all the expected questions from my students.(Yg unexpected, buat soalan assignment, if I also don't know the answer,huhuuh).. Ingat kan jadi lecturer lepak sikit, rupanye..$%&^&... tu tak masuk bab research lagi..

Apa pun, I believe every job has their own challenges not only for profesional but the sokongan also. Goverment and private, maybe the culture of work differ, tapi outcome nya the same.. coz we also have our Key performance Indicator (KPI)... So, sapa kata keje government sekarang relax? Huhuh..

COLIC

Yesterday evening I received a phone call from my mom..

Me: Hello Mak..
My Mom: Pi mana..? Banyak kali dah call..
Me: (Angkat2 je dah kena marah) Baru je habis aktiviti dengan student baru.
My Mom: Ni Ammar, dah 1 jam nangis.. Kembung kot perut dia..
Me: (Panicked) Ha kembung.. Ok, ok, adik balik sekarang..

In my mind, i keep blaming myself for not bringing my mobilephone. "Why I always left my handphone ..? Mangkuk betul", me blaming myself. All the way back, I'm thinking why he had his first time colic.. Me and my mom had took all the precautions [use only boiling water for his milk, minyak Yu Yee, wear sock etc..].

I also thinking of bring him to Dr. Iqbal, UniMAP's Medical Director (luckily, he's our neighbour).. and if my colleagues (UniMAP's staffs ) saw me by this time, sure they will report to my hubby. " Stopa, wife u bawak kereta bukan main laju lagi.." Actually, my hubby dah immune pun with this complain.

When I reached home, Ammar just fall asleep after 1 hour of nonstop crying.. Poor Ammar, because our carelessness, dia jadi mangsa.. I'm sorry sayang.. My mom past Ammar to me, I kissed him and put him in his swing.. My mom said that Abang also tried to comfort his brother..He don't know what to do, so he sit by Ammar's side and watch his brother pitily (is it a word?) Aahh, I missed that part.. If only I can captured that scene..

At night, once Ammar had recovered from his colic, I had this conversation with him.. Abang was not around. He was with papa attending Majlis Siswa at Dewan 2020. I even composed him a song.. Hope you enjoyed it!!
